SELF REFLECTION

In this project we were required to create an typo object using any object of our choice. To create an typo object we were to use the envelope distort tool to create the shapes of our object. The object I chose was a pair of headphones. I created the headphones on adobe illustrateor by using the pen tool to trace an out of this world sketch I drew of the headphones. Then I typed out the name of each part of the headphone and used the envelope distort tool to merge the names to the coresponding parts of the headphones. I used the principle of design rythm in this project by using the names of the parts of the headphones as many times as I needed to to create a fill for the out line of the headphones I traced. Yes my final product represented my sketch. My sketch was actualy a very acurate drawing of the image I drew it from there for making it that much easyer to make on the computer.

In this project we were supposed to create a typeface. We could choose any animal or object of our choice using any font we wanted. We were to create the animal or object by only using the letters in its name. Also we were unable to distort the letters. The animal I chose was a wolf and the font I chose was called creepsville. To create the wolf I used the letter o for the nose the letters f and l for the fur and entire outline of the face and the letter w for the teeth. I used the letter l multiple times to create the fur and texture of my wolf. I also used the letter l as the outline of the outide of my wolfs face. This created balance and a shape for the right and left side of my wolf. No my final product does not represent my sketch because my final product in my eyes is better put together crispier and more time was spent on it than my sketch.
